1.River Thames, England’s longest river which holds history from over 1000 years. Take a cruise down the river to get connected to the different parts of London and also enjoy the beautiful sights on your journey.

5.Westminster Abbey, a gothic church situated to the west of Westminster Palace. It is a perfect representation of London art and architecture with over 1000 years of history running throughout. The ceremonies of the British Monarchs and their family take place in this church. In fact, Prince William will be wedding Catherine Middleton in the Abbey in the early part of 2011.

6.Big Ben, the clock tower with the name referring to the 13 ton chime bell is sited at the north end of the House of Parliament. It is an iconic film location and it is taken as the symbol of the UK and London. Big Ben is open only for the UK residents and a seventy five minutes tour of the tower offers an amazing experience.

7.Tower of London, London’s oldest building and the royal fortress serving as a prison, a palace and an arsenal. The tower is open on all days except on some national holidays and the admission fee differs based upon the age of tourists.

8.Madame Tussauds, the original world famous waxworks museum located in Baker Street, Marylebone. The museum exhibits waxworks of historical legends, renowned sports starts, media celebrities and famous murderers. You can take a snap with any of your favorite star be it ancient or modern.

9.Shopping, one special activity in London that comes with endless opportunities. From high end to stores that are kind to your pocket, London has it all.
