Olympic Stadium

The Stadium at Queen Elizabeth Olympic park in Stratford London is popularly known as the Olympic Stadium.  It is 6.5 miles away from Central London and is situated on Marshgate Lane in Stratford district. It was built for the purpose of 2012 Summer Olympics and Paralympics. Now it is home to concerts, Anniversary Games and provides a stage for the Rugby World Cup in 2015 and the IAAF World Athletics Championships in 2017.

You can travel from Central London to Olympic Stadium by buses, trains, coaches, undergrounds, DLRs and also by taxis.  It will take around 30 minutes to reach Central London via A501 and around 55 minutes by London Underground.

It is just six minutes to Olympic Stadium from London St. Pancras station via Stratford International High Speed rail services. From Liverpool Street you can take the Central Line to reach Stratford station in around 12 minutes. This Stadium is 1.2 miles away from Stratford station or Stratford International and it will take about 25 minutes to reach the stadium’s entrance.
